I am writing this for those of you thinking of buying it for the new Kindle Three. The other reviewers have pretty much said everything else about it. Beautiful craftsmanship and a worthy compliment to the Kindle. Here is the good news. The new Kindle fits perfectly and securely in this cover. It is also light enough to hold for extended periods of time in one hand and the note part folds back quite nicely. All in all I am very happy with this cover.


Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Not so useful as it looks
Looks pretty nice, like a Moleskine notebook. But it is too thick, so I end to use the kindle naked. The elastic bands are a worse sujection option than the Amazon one. Be aware that it seems better for lefties as the notebook is on the left.
Seems to be a nice design which hasn't been tested before launch it -no slot for pen, for instance-.

I've been using this cover for about a month-and-a-half now and I'm pretty satisfied.
First of all, the case looks great, understated and classy, like Moleskine's notebooks.
The addition of the reporter notebook is a nice touch. I know several people here have complained about its placement on the left side of the case (not sure if many of those reviewers actually owned it) but I haven't found it to be a problem at all for writing. Is not a good idea to have a block on the left side.
Very difficult to write if you are right handed.
The Kindle's on switch is covered by an elastic band.

Having been a fan of Moleskine products for years, I looked forward to checking out their foray into device covers. For the most part, it's a really good product, but I wish I could have rated it at 3.5 stars, as they missed the 4-star "I love it" mark with a couple glaring design flaws, yet it's better than a 3-star "meh".
